Cecilia Lonning-Skovgaard

Cecilia Lonning-Skovgaard is the mayor of Employment and Integration in the city of Copenhagen since January 2018 and political leader of the liberal party in Copenhagen. Prior to that Cecilia has been a member of the Copenhagen City Council since 2008.

In 2001 Cecilia Lonning-Skovgaard finished her master’s degree in political science from Aarhus University. She was the first woman to receive the Crown Prince Frederik’s scholarship which made it possible to do a Master of Public Administration at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.

Cecilia has a broad work experience with managerial experience from both the public and the private sector. Cecilia has worked for companies such as McKinsey, Carlsberg Breweries and Codan / RSA Scandinavia and as Senior Director at Ørsted.

Nadia Hewett

Nadia Hewett is a project lead for Blockchain and Distributed Ledger at the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Her team works on projects aiming to support the building and testing of policy frameworks to accelerate the societal benefits of, and mitigate the risks from, distributed ledger technology. Governments, the private sector, civil society, academia and other stakeholders will pilot these frameworks and protocols to test theories about impact, iterate based on lessons learned and then scale globally their adoption.

The Forum’s mission is to maximize the benefits of science and technology for society through a global hub of expertise, knowledge-sharing and collaboration and to co-design and pilot innovative new approaches to policy and governance in the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

Thomas Moser

Thomas Moser is an Alternate Member of the Governing Board of the Swiss National Bank (Central Bank of Switzerland). He is also a member of the Managing Committee of the Swiss Institute of Banking and Finance, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland, and a member of the Executive Committee of the KOF Swiss Economic Institute at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) Zurich, Switzerland.

From 2006 to 2010 Thomas Moser was Executive Director at the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, D.C., USA. He has a doctorate in economics from the University of Zurich, Switzerland.


Ms. Hoffman serves as the Global Co-Leader of the IBM Cognitive Legal Practice and is a member of the IBM Global Center of Competency. She was certified as an IBM Thought Leader in 2015 and has two patents pending for Detecting Clusters and Relationships in Large Data Sets (END920160377US1) and Method and System for Pattern Based Home Network Configuration (END820160894). She also co-authored the book "eDiscovery Plain & Simple" (ISBN-13:97814394079), is the Co-Founder of Women in eDiscovery (Founded in 2007) and the Co-Founder of Diversity in Blockchain (Founded in 2017). In 2017, Ms. Hoffman-Childress became an Advisory Board Member for Integra Ledger and became a pioneering member of the Global Legal Blockchain Consortium and the MIT Legal Forum for AI & Blockchain. Recently, she spoke at the United Nations at the Blockchain for Impact Summit and GlobalMinded on the subject “Blockchain, Financial Fuel for Sustainable Development”. In September 2018, she was appointed to the U.S. Commodity Future Trading Commission's Distributed Ledger Technology and Market Infrastructure Subcommittee for the 2018 - 2019 term.

As her give back to her local community, Ms. Hoffman-Childress co-founded and serves on the Board of Directors of the Community Hope Center of Osceola County which has helped over 27,000 homeless families since its inception. The Community Hope Center has received multiple awards and most recently was presented with the Bob Allen Award from the Walt Disney Company and the Good Neighbor Award from Bank of America for the fight against homelessness. The Community Hope Center was an inspiration and was featured in the Oscar Winning Movie, The Florida Project.

Morten Spange

Morten Spange is a Senior Adviser at Danmarks Nationalbank where he leads a team that analyses monetary and macrofinancial developments. Since joining the Bank in 2008 he has worked on a wide range of issues within macroeconomics and monetary economics. Morten holds a PhD in economics from the University of Aarhus and prior to joining Danmarks Nationalbank he spent four years at the Bank of England working om monetary strategy and international economics.

Dr. Stefan Junestrand

Stefan Junestrand holds a Ph.D. in Architecture and is considered a leading international expert in areas related to Smart Cities, Intelligent Buildings, Sustainability and Blockchain.

He is the CEO and co-founder of Grupo Tecma Red, Spain’s leading Media Company specialized in providing information and knowledge about Sustainability, Energy and New Technologies for the Built Environment.

Junestrand is also a member of the "EU Blockchain Observatory” and a main contributor to the “Blockchain 4 Cities” report by U4SSC (United Nations / ITU).

He is a futurist who has written more than a dozen books and scientific papers, hundreds of articles, and is also a frequent Speaker at Conferences and Events in Europe, America and Asia.

Victoria Gago
Victoria Gago is the Co-Founder of the European Blockchain Convention and Associate at AddVANTE M&A where she advises tech, retail and industrial companies. Prior to that she worked as an Investment Analyst at Black Toro Capital.

She is a blockchain guest speaker at Millionaire’s Club (Millionærklubben), Denmark’s leading financial radio show. 

In 2016 Victoria founded Accelerate Network, an association for young female professionals, whose objective is to inspire young women to reach their full potential, empower upcoming talents and future female leaders.

Victoria has roots in Northern, Southern and Eastern Europe and a global mindset, having lived in Malaysia, Australia, United Kingdom, Spain, Luxembourg and Denmark.

Mariana Gomez de la Villa

Mariana Gomez de la Villa has joined ING in 2015 and is currently the Distributed Ledger Technology Program Director at ING, with overall responsibility for driving research, development and implementation of Distributed Ledger Technology as well as capitalizing on its potential in order to unlock mass-scale value. Under Mariana’s leadership, the Blockchain program has delivered over 44 proofs of concept and 8 live pilots in collaboration with the following business areas: payments, trade finance and working capital solutions, financial markets, post-trade, bank treasury, lending, compliance and identity.

Mariana is also responsible for setting up long-term purpose and vision, including the governance of the program within ING globally. Mariana is an active leader in global consortia, outlining the Distributed Ledger Technology strategy and envisioning market landscapes. Mariana’s accountabilities include the definition of products, services and business models, as well as foresight to business, technology, leadership communities and international stakeholders, including regulators.

Henrik Hvid Jensen

Henrik Hvid Jensen has a unique combination of knowledge with the digitization of global trade, leading understanding of blockchains real possibilities and limitations, and practical experience in designing and realizing digital platforms and blockchain solutions for global trade ecosystems and government organizations.

Henrik is the innovator and designer of the Maersk/IBM Blockchain initiative to digitalize global trade. He has designed Blockshipping’s blockchain platform  for container sharing and is currently working with  World Economic Forum on distributed digital identifiers and Inter American Development Bank on blockchain based framework for import/export processes in South America

Joshua Ashley Klayman

Joshua Ashley Klayman is one of the best known Blockchain and Cryptocurrency lawyers in the world. Recognized by Chambers and Partners as one of the top 12 Blockchain and Cryptocurrency lawyers globally, Ms. Klayman is the Managing Member of Klayman LLC, a boutique blockchain law firm based in New York, and the CEO of Inflection Point Blockchain Advisors, LLC, a blockchain consulting firm.  Previously, she co-founded, and led for over two years, a prestigious global law firm's Blockchain + Smart Contracts Group, which included well over 70 lawyers worldwide.

Ms. Klayman is the Chair of the prominent Wall Street Blockchain Alliance Legal Working Group and is a member of the global Wharton RegTech think tank. In addition, she has been appointed by the Delaware Secretary of State to serve on Delaware’s Blockchain Strategy Committee, founded the Blockchain Legislation Project and frequently speaks with regulators from around the world regarding Blockchain, Smart Contracts and Cryptocurrency matters. Ms. Klayman also is a founding member of the Digital Future Council, a co-founder of Diversity in Blockchain, Inc. and a founding member of Collective Future.  Ms. Klayman works collaboratively with Blockchain leaders from other law firms, clients and the broader community to advance the industry, anticipate and address regulatory concerns and seize strategic opportunities.

Søren Peter Nielsen

Søren Peter Nielsen is the Head of Product at MakerDAO, which is a decentralized organization dedicated to bringing stability and transparency to the crypto economy.

Søren is recognized for his strengths in analytics, data, trading calculation, accelerated technical related delivery and granular related expertise. In his role, he is responsible for leading the product engineering, infrastructure and operations, information security, R&D and product innovation and is focused on all MakerDAO´s product platforms, big data analytics and agile development of the system that creates Dai, the world’s first decentralized stablecoin on the Ethereum blockchain. Dai is a collateral-backed currency token whose value is kept predictable relative to the US Dollar through a series of complementary financial incentives.
Søren has extensive experience in advisory, operational roles and in leading architectural solutions for technological enterprises. He joined MakerDAO in 2018 from IoT-systems where he was Chief Software Architect leading development teams and creating solutions architectures. Stephanie Ramezan

Co-Founder of Quince Capital and Partner at Digital Asset Group, Stephanie is working to revolutionise the market by marrying-up traditional financial services with the digital world.  Digital Asset Group is working to become the world’s first fully-regulated B2B Blockchain bank and will include a variety of services including but not limited to crypto fund of funds, wealth management, crypto stock-exchange and a direct market investment platform.  

Stephanie started her career in the City of London and has spent the past 14 years across a variety of front-office Sales/Trading/Corporate Finance roles. 

Tommaso Mancini-Griffoli

Tommaso Mancini-Griffoli is a Deputy Division Chief in the Monetary and Capital Markets Department at the International Monetary Fund (IMF), managing work on monetary policy, central banking, and fintech. He has advised country authorities and published on issues related to unconventional monetary policies, monetary policy and financial stability, spillovers, exchange rate regimes and interventions, modelling and forecasting, evolving monetary policy frameworks, and fintech.

Prior to joining the IMF, Mr. Mancini-Griffoli was a senior economist in the Research and Monetary Policy Division of the Swiss National Bank, where he advised the Board on quarterly monetary policy decisions. Mr. Mancini-Griffoli spent prior years in the private sector, at Goldman Sachs, the Boston Consulting Group, and technology startups in the Silicon Valley. He holds a PhD from the Graduate Institute in Geneva, and other degrees from the London School of Economics and Stanford University.

Anca Petre

Anca Petre is the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of 23 Consulting, specializing in guiding healthcare organizations through blockchain initiatives. She trains and assists major players in this sector on an international scale, including pharmaceutical corporations, startups and hospitals.

Having completed a double-degree in pharmacy and management, Anca is working on a thesis about the potential of blockchain technology in the pharmaceutical industry. In her work as a speaker and writer she is passionate about new technologies, their impacts on the healthcare system, and democratizing their use for the medical community.

Simon Kiilerich Vedel

Simon Kiilerich Vedel works at Maersk, the world’s largest container shipping company. The future vision of Maersk as a Global Integrator of Container Logistics relies heavily on introducing a programmatic software approach to running a global logistics business by way of e.g. data science and artificial intelligence. Central to that work is modern product management and agile software development to meet the shifting demands from customers and partners around the world.

Simon’s current responsibility is to identify and explore technology trends that could transform supply chain and logistics and to develop concept and products that would enable Maersk to continue to grow in the future. He holds a PhD in Information Studies and has previously been employed in several roles in the financial industry as well as in academia. Simon is also a global speaker on blockchain and digitization as well as a contributor to expert forums such as the World Economic Forum, the European Union, and industry associations.

Jens brings 20 years of international experience working for established firms, consulting and
NGOs. He has created partnerships in global trade and build new venture start-ups. Jens is an
expert advisor on Trade and Distributed Ledger Technology supporting the UK Parliament,
World Economic Forum and corporates. He has taken up positions in corporate
strategy/business development/sustainability and as an intrapreneur and entrepreneur. Jens is

Martin von Haller Grønbæk

Martin is a partner in our Danish International Tech and Comms Group.

He is one of Denmark’s leading IT lawyers with almost 20 years’ experience of advising Danish and international organisations, including large blue chip companies, on legal and commercial matters in connection with IT in a wide sense.  He is considered a pioneer with respect to the legal aspects of Online Technology Solutions (Ecommerce, internet and web services), Cyber and IT security, open source and open data and the use of other open licence forms such as Creative Commons.

Martin works with clients on the legal aspects related to emergent areas and industries such as 3D Printing, Robotics, Smart networks and smart cities, wearable tech, IoT, FinTech, Bitcoin and blockchain technologies.

He advises technology start-ups and SMEs within the IT and media sectors on fundraising, M&A and transactions, corporate matters and more general commercial contracts.

Marjan Delatinne

Marjan is an entrepreneurial business developer who enjoys establishing effective strategies and directing major initiatives from conceptual to implementation. With more than two decades of experience in various commercial positions (mainly big, complex and new product commercialisation), Marjan has gained valuable insights into the financial industry and the market infrastructures globally. Since joining Ripple in 2017, she has been responsible for the definition and execution of the go to market strategy and sales of Ripple product and services. Previously, Marjan worked for SWIFT and was responsible for the commercialization of large scale projects both in securities and payments, namely Target 2 Securities & resiliency solutions for national central banks.

She also led the EMEA customer engagement for the global payments innovation initiative (gpi). Marjan worked for Eurocelar, BNY Mellon and held various positions in sales & network management divisions. Marjan has a university degree in Business Administration and research master degree in Experimental & Clinical Psychology. In addition to English, she is fluent in French and Scandinavian languages.

Pavel Kravchenko

Pavel has studied the information security since 2003, including topics about advanced cryptography. He also won all-Ukrainian academic competitions several times (2005-2007) and received awards for producing the best student research in 2007 and 2008. Pavel received his PhD in Cryptography in 2012 in the Kharkiv National University of Radioelectronics, after publishing a groundbreaking thesis on the securing public infrastructure. Moreover, he is the author of 20 scientific papers, 12 of which are devoted to the blockchain technology and decentralized systems.
From 2006 to 2009, Pavel worked as a security engineer at the leading security company in Ukraine, he was involved in a SAP security project and built the PKI infrastructure in Ukraine.

From 2009 to 2013 Pavel was the team leader and project manager for several IT-projects, including being responsible for the Rabobank’s mobile application development. Pavel started his blockchain and cryptocurrencies career with researches at a Silicon Valley startup - Stellar. In 2014 Pavel cofounded Distributed Lab, a venture, dedicated to advancing the cryptocurrency and blockchain state of the art through independent R&D, government projects, collaborations with national universities, and standard-setting initiatives. He considers the company’s mission in a creation of an open ecosystem that uses uniform payment and asset management protocol - so called ”financial web”.

Guenther is a Partner at PwC Zurich and Leader of PwC Legal Switzerland as well as a Member of PwC’s Global Legal Leadership Team. Prior to this he was a successful Venture Capitalist, served as in-house counsel at an international hedge fund and practised in court and with a leading business law firm. Guenther holds a PhD in law from Johannes Kepler University (Austria), an MBA from the University of Strathclyde (Scotland) and has completed an Executive Education Program at Harvard Business School. He is the author of 10 books mostly on investment law and regulation. 

Yan Yang

Dr. Yan Yang is a senior Investment Promotion Manager and the Head of ICT investment China and Blockchain in Copenhagen Capacity. Copenhagen Capacity is a public funded company that helps with foreign business and talents to develop in Greater Copenhagen area.

Dr. Yang holds bachelor degree in Computer Science, Master degree in Education and Ph.D. degree in Humanity, and is experienced in developing international projects and triple helix cooperation.

With a background in clinical pharmacology, alumna of AT Kearney and Novartis Pharma, Siddhi has been focused on digital healthcare innovation
for nearly 30 years. Whilst juggling between career breaks with 4 children, her interests have been interspersed between entrepreneurship and
working with SME’s across many sectors. As a multi-award winning, accomplished business woman her experience spans across Europe, USA, Africa and India.
Currently, as director of Beowulf Proof Work, she advises start-ups focused on tech for good projects, and provides bespoke technology
solutions through her newly co-founded technology delivery start-up: Beyond which builds AI enabled solutions and where appropriate, develops POC’s and MVPs for social impact blockchain projects.
This month, she will launched the British Indian Blockchain Association , which will become the first Blockchain membership organisation that serves to create an ecosystem for open collaborations between the student, technologist, entrepreneur, corporation, and investor through an innovative platform where members are rewarded for their active contribution to the platform.
She is a founder member of Cambridge Wireless (CW), based out of the Cambridge University Science Park, CW is the leading international
community for ambitious technology organisations. Siddhi is also a member of the All Party Parliamentary Artificial Intelligence and Blockchain Group (APPG), UK, her focus is AI Ethics and Blockchain Education for civil servants.
As a TEDx License holder Siddhi organises TEDx Conferences to showcase innovative ideas that inspire and stimulate conversations to spark change for societal good. She is also a founding Trustee for Resume Foundation, a charity to help ex-offenders, marginalised and disadvantaged members of
our society. She is a mentor and judge for TECHNOVATION, a global organisation aimed at encouraging girls to code and to create value driven solutions that address UN’s SDGs. Siddhi is multi award winning and accomplished business woman with international experience.

David Grundy

David is the Group Head of Blockchain/DLT at Danske Bank. Prior to moving to Denmark with his family David spent over 20 years working in London in various executive roles within commercial organisations and start-ups alike. David’s keys mantra throughout his career is based on the belief that “innovation only adds value if it can be delivered”

Lars Arne Christensen

Lars Arne Christensen is candidate for the Danish parliament for the Conservative Peoples Party. He has a M. Sc. in computer science and mathematics from Copenhagen University, and an Executive MBA along with an HD in finance, both from Copenhagen Business School (CBS).
Lars Arne’s business background is in FinTech, where he has started companies both in and outside of Denmark.

Today Lars works as a business angel within FinTech, PropTech, HealthTech, GovTech and DeepTech. Lars Arne Christensen has worked on the international scene for a large number of businesses, financial institutions, public authorities, states and transnational organizations. Lars has served in the board of directors for Copenhagen FinTech for two terms.

Sue McLean

Sue McLean, Partner, Technology, Baker McKenzie. Sue is the firm's Global Tech Lead for FinTech and Blockchain. Sue advises clients on technology, sourcing and digital media business models and deals, as well as the legal issues relating to the implementation of new technologies. Sue advises on a wide range of technology matters including outsourcing, digital transformation, technology procurement, development and licensing, m/e-commerce, cloud computing, AI, FinTech, blockchain, social media, data privacy and cybersecurity.

Joey Garcia

Joey Garcia is the financial services and fintech partner at ISOLAS LLP, Gibraltar’s longest established law firm (1892). He has co-chaired the Gibraltar Government working group on distributed ledger technology and blockchain technology for a number of years and is ranked by Chamber and Partners as one of the top 12 lawyers in the world in the space, as well as by the Legal 500 as an accomplished financial services expert. With the working group Joey has worked alongside the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission in the introduction of a new regulatory framework to cover operators in Blockchain and distributed ledger technology space which came into effect in January.

He acts for a number of very well-known groups including Xapo, Gnosis, RSK, Coinfloor, GBX and Huobi and is also a member of the global Wharton RegTech think tank bringing together practitioners and regulators from around the world. Joey is also RSK’s ambassador for Gibraltar, contributes to the US Chamber of Digital Commerce as part of the groups lawyers committee, and also contributed to first publication covering Global Legal Insights on Blockchain and Cryptocurrency Regulation. He is a regular speaker and contributor to initiatives around the world in the space.

Ellen Crayton

Flavio Soares

Flavio Soares has spent more than two decades as a trusted advisor to small and midsized Catalan, Brazilian and Spanish companies and entrepreneurs on matters related to intellectual property, trademark registration, unfair competition, civil litigation, company formation and compliance, and international investment structures.

He has developed a broad contact base throughout the intellectual property and tech start-up sectors since establishing the Barcelona branch of Ávila Pereira & Torres in 1993.

Flavio began practicing law in Rio de Janeiro in 1986 under the mentorship of his Commercial Law professor Kléber Pereira Ávila in the law firm of Ávila Pereira & Torres. The firm provided advice regarding trademark and intellectual property law to a broad array of international clients and was the springboard for the development of Flavio’s legal practice.

Upon relocating to Barcelona, Flavio earned a master’s degree in International Law from the University of Barcelona in 1993 specializing in software licensing in the European Union while working for the Spanish law firm of Ribas & Rodríguez and qualifying to practice as a Spanish lawyer.

In 1993, Flavio established the Barcelona office of Ávila Pereira & Torres under the name of Soares & Ávila, focusing on intellectual property and trademark law. The practice has expanded over the years to incorporate Flavio’s expertise in new technologies and advising innovators throughout the business lifecycle, including licensing, technology transfer, protection of know-how, dispute resolution (including litigation), and unfair competition.

Lasse Jonasson

Lasse Jonasson is a director at CIFS and heads the consultancy department, and has a professional background as an executive in the financial industry. Lasse is primarily engaged in advisory of organisations within long term strategic transitions through scenario planning, trend analysis, and development of organisational resilience. His competencies lie in anticipating changes and driving forces within industries and industry players, analysing new business models, and driving innovation and risk management frameworks.

Lasse also specialises in the impact of technology on a business level as well as a societal level. More recently, he has been working with how distributed ledger technologies and other advanced technologies will alter the way trust is created and maintained in the future between individuals, organisations and institutions. Rasmus Winther Mølbjerg

Rasmus is the lead of the Deloitte Digital NextGen team, only looking into new business opportunities by enabling and powering up the latest technology in combination with business models. Blockchain is at the core of the future digital transformation, and Rasmus is part of Global Blockchain leadership team at Deloitte.

The team is working as an open innovation hub with strong collaboration with startups, enterprises, governments, tech-vendors, crowdsourcing platforms and academia to deliver the next level of digital transformation across industries.

Jorge Lesmes

Jorge (MSc Comp Sci) is in charge of leading and defining the group's strategic direction and value proposition for the Blockchain and Distributed Ledger Technology initiative for the banking sector, overseeing industry projects the group is participating in. With over 10 years’ experience in the area of Banking Consulting (Corporate & Retail), he has acquired an expert knowledge in critical banking infrastructure and regulatory transformation including CMA Open Banking, GDPR and PSD2 having led implementations for multiple Tier 1 global banks.

His current focus is on how the Internet of Value will improve our ability to make payments as quickly and efficiently as data transfers, as well as inter-ledger infrastructure to improve connectivity between different DLT platforms.

Omri Ross

Having earned his Ph.D. in Mathematical Finance from the University of Cambridge, Dr. Omri Ross has published widely in leading journals. He currently holds an Assistant Professorship in Blockchain Technology at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Copenhagen.

Dr. Ross’s has acted as advisor, consulting with governments, banks, blockchain startups and larger corporations, and is a sought-after speaker on all topics relating to decentralized financial infrastructure.
