EBC Blockchain Awards is the official European Blockchain Convention recognition to the 100 top early-stage blockchain startups in Europe.

The Awards Finale will take place in the framework of European Blockchain Convention 2023, to be held on 15-17 Feb 2023 in Barcelona.

10 Finalists

The 10 finalists will pitch on the stage at European Blockchain Convention 2023 to a jury panel of investors. After the pitches, the winner will be announced on stage.

Folks Finance is a non-custodial DeFi protocol providing financial tools for digital assets. Users can deposit assets to earn yield, as well as use their deposits as collateral for loans.

Gamium is a Web3 and Metaverse technology company building the truly Decentralized Social Metaverse. Gamium is building the first decentralized social metaverse and the digital identity of humans.

PropChain allows its users to invest in fractional Real Estate properties. Built on an interconnected, Ethereum-based blockchain, they provide its users with a platform to monitor, manage, and collect rent returns directly on the marketplace.

RBL Labs is a gaming studio with the mission to build games, NFTs and other products to power the future of Web 3. They believe that GameFi, Metaverse and the news for critical thinkers are the three pillars of their business.

Telos is a third-generation blockchain platform for the construction of fast and scalable distributed applications with free transactions. Its network can sustainably support hundreds of millions of transactions per day, and produces blocks in 0.5-second intervals.

Criteria

100 Nominees

The 100 nominees have been selected by an EBC Committee in line with the following criteria:

  • Startups must have raised a pre-seed or seed funding round in the last 18 months. 

  • Total funding raised must be over €1M.

  • Startups must be founded in 2018 and onwards

  • Startups must have at least an MVP (minimal viable product)

  • Startups must be related to Blockchain, crypto, Web3, NFTs or Metaverse industry

  • Startups must be based in Europe

10 Finalists

The 10 Finalists will be determined by a weighted total between:

  • Public Voting: 50%
Your input is very important in terms of shaping the Awards.
 
  • EBC Committee: 50%

A group of industry experts from around the world, will provide significant feedback on all proposals.
