From Blockchain to Web3 – BlockStart Startups 3rd Demo Day
I am sure you sometimes wonder: what is being built with blockchain technology?
You now have the chance to learn firsthand what 6 of Europe’s most promising blockchain startups have been working on in the last 6 months.
BlockStart, the pan-European blockchain acceleration and partnership programme is hosting a Demo Day on 24th February where the 6 startups of its 3rd acceleration program will present their MPVs.
BlockStart was founded with the mission to discover and back Europe’s most talented blockchain innovators, help them implement their solutions in real-world commercial pilots, and attract follow-on investment. Selected businesses are given funding (with no equity) and mentoring to help them expand their solutions.
Demo Day
At 3:00 pm CET on February 24th, 6 of Europe’s most promising blockchain startups will present what they have been working on in the last 6 months. The six startups are AgeVolts, Blockfrauds, Blocktac, Communitaria, Digital Village & HOPU.
In addition to the pitch presentations, participants will hear Sabine Brink, Global Blockchain Lead at Shell, explaining how blockchain can accelerate the energy transition.

Policy Conference
On the same day (at 10 am CET), BlockStart will also hold Blockchain: regulation in the decentralized world, a conference focusing on the question of whether top-down regulation and the decentralized essence of blockchain are compatible and how to best regulate this emerging technology.
