SABANA LABS, S.L. (hereinafter, “EBC“), with identification number B67269597 and registered office at Calle dels Enamorats, 21 – P. 4 PTA. 1, 08013, Barcelona, is controller for the processing of your personal data as an assistant to the event.

The personal data that we process are those that you provide to us when you register on the form provided for the purpose of purchasing a pass for the event. In particular, your first and last name, your profession, your gender, email address, your nationality, your image and your bank details are processed, and if you have applied for the Hackathone competition, we will also process your skills and/or experience in programming and blockchain, as well as your expertise in this field, and your profile on social networks (i.e. LinkedIn, Twitter).

Once you have completed your registration in the form provided for this purpose, EBC will process the personal data included therein for the following purposes and under the following legitimate basis:

  1. To provide you with the requested service, including the processing of the ticket, as well as subsequent access to the event. As this processing is necessary to carry out the services, it will be covered by the performance of the contract.
  2. To manage your participation in the Hackathon competition including the analysis of your application for participation, as well as the processing of your application for participation if you are finally selected. This processing will be carried out under the contractual performance, as it is necessary both to assess your application for the competition and to manage your participation in the competition.
  3. To send you newsletters that include content related to the event you have attended, as well as about future similar events, publications or any other similar information that may be of your interest. The legitimate basis will be article 21.2 of Law 34/2002, of 11 July, on information society services and electronic commerce, as the newsletter will be sent by electronic communications such as your e-mail address.Please note that you may at any time object to receiving this newsletter by sending a letter requesting such objection to the e-mail address included in the section of your rights.
  4. To publish your image on EBC social media and media covering the event. If you pose during the capture of group or individual images, we will consider that you authorise EBC to use your image for the aforementioned purposes, transferring free of charge, non-exclusively, for the worldwide territorial scope and for the maximum duration permitted by the regulations in force at any given time, the exploitation rights of the photographs and images for their use in the terms indicated above. The exploitation rights include the rights of use, dissemination, distribution, exhibition, public communication, disclosure and reproduction of the photographs, as well as the right of transformation to the extent necessary, authorising the reduction, extension or modification of their content.
  5. In addition, general images of the event will be taken during the event based on EBC’s legitimate interest.

In addition, we inform you that your personal data will be stored until the termination of the contractual relationship, i.e. until the end of the event and, thereafter, the data will be stored, duly blocked, during the periods of limitation of our legal obligations and any liabilities arising from their processing.

If you have not objected to receiving the newsletter, your contact details will be processed for the purpose of sending you the newsletter until you exercise your objection.

Furthermore, we inform you that your personal data will not be disclosed to third parties either within or outside the European Economic Area, but may, however, be accessible, as data processors, by third party service providers with whom EBC has entered into a data processor contract.

Also, please note that different companies participate in the event with a stand through which they promote their products and/or services. These entities are completely independent from EBC -which only provides the space for the stand- and, consequently, we cannot control their processing of personal data of the assistants, which will be carried out by them as data controllers for their own purposes.

Finally, you may exercise the rights of access, rectification, portability, erasure, restriction or objection to processing, as well as the right to withdraw your consent at any time. These rights may be exercised by sending a letter to Calle dels Enamorats, 21 – P. 4 PTA. 1, 08013, Barcelona, or by sending an e-mail to the following address: missgago@eblockchainconvention.com.

Likewise, if you consider it necessary, you can request the protection of the Spanish Data Protection Authority through its website www.aepd.es.
