David SABBAN is the Deputy head of Banking services and means of payments Unit at the General Directorate of the Treasury since 2023 where he is in charge of the regulation of crypto-assets and stablecoins. Between 2019 and 2023, he worked at the French AML/CFT supervisory authority, where he was particularly in charge of the AML/CFT regulation of crypto-assets (FATF, EU).
