Kais HAJ TAIEB is a Senior Blockchain and Open Finance Lead at Crédit Agricole SA, where he oversees innovation projects including the Digital Euro, CBDC, Digital Identity, Digital Assets, and Blockchain. Previously, he served as the strategy head and senior blockchain and digital assets expert at CACEIS Bank. Kais joined CACEIS Bank in June 2015 after working at PricewaterhouseCoopers, providing regulatory, compliance, and financial consulting services. He has over 20 years of experience in the financial, telecommunications, and cryptography sectors, having held various investment and product development roles at several asset management companies. Kais is leading the project to open Groupe Crédit Agricole to digital assets, bringing his extensive technical and regulatory expertise to the table. Within the Group, he is a key reference on digital assets and blockchain issues and support numerous projects across the group’s entities. Kais represents Groupe Crédit Agricole in the Digital Asset Group for the development of innovative projects on digital assets and actively participates in various industry working groups. He holds a degree from the École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications de Paris, a certification in MIT Media Lab Cryptocurrency, and a diploma in Blockchain Advanced Program from École Polytechnique. Kais has also contributed to research on encrypted transmission channels, particularly CDMA technology.
