Tommaso Astazi

Tommaso Astazi is the Head of Regulatory Affairs at Blockchain for Europe, where he leads the association’s institutional engagement and advocacy work. In parallel, Tommaso is a Consultant at APCO Worldwide and is based in Brussels.

He specializes in digital and blockchain-related policies and is a member of the firm’s Tech & Financial Services teams. He is closely following legislative developments on Artificial Intelligence, data privacy, digital identity and cybersecurity, while also leading the team’s work on crypto regulation. Prior to joining APCO Worldwide, Tommaso completed his graduate studies in European studies at Maastricht University while working as a social media manager for a local business. He is an Italian national, speaks fluent Spanish and has a basic knowledge of French, Dutch and German.
